After years of our advocacy and policy work, New Jersey adopted many of the Quality Institute’s recommendations on Maternity Care:
Episode of Care pilot
Eliminate payment for early elective deliveries
Extend post-partum Medicaid eligibility beyond 60 days
Reimburse for centering programs
Require all providers and MCOs to use the Perinatal Risk Assessment tool to help pregnant individuals obtain services
