Mayor Amatorio and Bergenfield Health Department Launch Wellness Campaign to Promote Healthy Living

BERGENFIELD, NJ — Mayor Amatorio, in partnership with the Bergenfield Health Department is launching a wellness campaign to combat COVID-19 and promote healthy living. This program will include daily wellness activities over an eight week period, starting with Zumba at Memorial Park on Monday, April 19 at 6:30pm.

“As we begin to turn the corner on COVID-19 by ramping up vaccinations, it is critical that we turn the focus towards healthy living,” said Mayor Amatorio. “We are launching this campaign to get Bergenfield on a path to good health by providing these daily wellness activities that I hope residents will continue to do even after this program ends. Thank you to our phenomenal sponsors, volunteers and the Bergenfield Health Department for helping us to make this possible. Also a special thanks to Mayor’s Wellness champion Priscilla Pascual who is coordinating the events.”
