The Maternity Action Plan is a holistic approach to combatting maternal mortality and morbidity and is a guide to implementing and accelerating the goals of Nurture NJ. The MAP provides a directional path forward in four critical ways to address New Jersey’s maternal health crisis. By using the MAP and advancing Nurture NJ’s goals, together we will make New Jersey the safest and most equitable place for pregnant individuals to give birth and raise children.

The Quality Institute was engaged by the New Jersey Department of Human Services to conduct a market scan of primary care, including alternative payment models (“APM”) currently in use in New Jersey. The work included convening a workgroup of stakeholders and subject matter experts to inform the market scan and develop recommendations to support Advanced Primary Care in New Jersey.

The Conversation of Your Life (COYL) Toolkit serves as a comprehensive resource to promote advance care planning (APC) and healthy aging within New Jersey communities through key objectives. As an initiative of the Quality Institute’s Mayors Wellness Campaign (MWC), COYL aims to provide communities throughout New Jersey with resources, educational programs, and connections to subject matter experts and speakers on how ACP is an essential part of health and wellness.
