Emre Kayaalp, MD, PhD, F.A.C.O.G.
Emre Kayaalp, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.O.G. is a board-certified Obstetrics & Gynecology specialist. He holds a B.A. in Biology from Swarthmore College, an M.D. from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, and a Ph.D. from the McGill University Division of Experimental Medicine—Biomedical Ethics Unit. Over the last fifteen years, Dr. Kayaalp has held multiple leadership positions at universities and hospitals in the US and abroad. He also helped develop the MD/PhD program at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine in his ancestral home of Istanbul, Turkey.
In New Jersey, Dr. Kayaalp served as the Associate Residency Program Director and Resident Research Director at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Kayaalp is passionate about patient safety and performance improvement, especially in the context of Labor & Delivery. He brings extensive experience to his role as Regional Chair of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women’s Health at Hackensack Meridian Health. Dr. Kayaalp is also a proud father of an energetic 7-year-old.
