Join Conversation of Your Life (COYL) for a virtual panel discussion exploring how culture can influence the way advance care planning (ACP) and serious illness conversations take place within Latino communities.
This session will highlight:
- Cultural values and traditions that shape how individuals and families approach health care decisions
- The role of family connections, faith, and community relationships in advance care planning
- Community-centered approaches that support meaningful and culturally responsive conversations about serious illness and future care.
The event will feature clinicians, community leaders, and a legal advocate working closely with Latino communities across New Jersey.
Panelists will share perspectives and real-world experiences from clinical, legal, and community settings, highlighting the strengths, values, and trusted relationships that support advance care planning conversations.
