RANDY KRAKAUER, MD, FACP, FACR
Dr. Krakauer graduated from Albany Medical College in 1972 and is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. He received training in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, in Rheumatology at the National Institutes of Health and Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, and received an MBA from Rutgers. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology, and professor of medicine at Seton Hall University Graduate School of Medicine. He is past chairman of the American College of Managed Care Medicine. Randall Krakauer, MD, is the former National Medical Director of Medicare at Aetna. Now retired, Dr. Krakauer remains a Strategic Advisor to C-TAC and a trusted thought leader on geriatric care in the United States. He has been deeply involved in a number of C-TAC projects and provided testimony regarding advance care planning to a 2014 roundtable hosted by the U.S. Senate Aging Committee.
