Seventh Moon Home Birth Midwifery Practice

Vicki Hedley, CPM, CM, MA has been attending births for 27 years, first as a doula and childbirth educator, and then as a licensed midwife in New Jersey and New York for the last 15 years. Vicki has a master’s degree in Maternal Child Health Systems from Bastyr University. She has been in private practice and partnerships with midwives, and mentors midwifery students through an apprenticeship model.

Vicki believes that keeping reproductive justice at the forefront of the work that midwives do is critical to reducing maternal and infant mortality in the U.S. Vicki has also held multiple leadership roles at both state and national levels and continues her volunteer work to advance midwifery forward in both New Jersey and New York with the goal of recreating systems so that birthing people can have access to the equitable and culturally congruent care they deserve. Vicki is a mother to five amazing adult children and grandmother to four precious grandchildren.
