Toshira Maldonado, M.Ed., CPE advocates with a trauma informed approach to promote maternal wellness among BIPOC communities, emotional well-being, healthy parenting, and ending the family policing system. Toshira is the founder of Most Beautiful W.O.M.B Inc., which supports women as they overcome barriers of trauma and adversity. She holds a Master’s of Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Trauma and Resilience from Concordia University and an undergraduate Psychology degree from Thomas Edison State University.

Toshira is a Certified Outreach Perinatal Educator through a partnership with Commonsense Childbirth Institute and an experienced full spectrum doula with 24 years of experience. She also serves as active members of the National Perinatal Taskforce and the New Jersey Birth Justice Institute. Professionally, she serves as the Health Equity Program Coordinator for the LOHM Doula Initiative and a mobile therapist. Of all her greatest achievements, she is a wife of 24 years and a mother of five children.
