Ruth Antoniades is the executive director of the Labor Health Alliance, a coalition of labor management, public and private health and welfare funds in the Metropolitan New York area.

Ms. Antoniades previously worked as a Special Program Coordinator with the 1199/SEIU National Benefit and Pension Fund, involved in the development of health care delivery options, cost containment analysis, preventive services and as a liaison to external groups.

As a Senior Fellow with the New Jersey Quality Health Care Quality Institute she is involved with projects that will ensure that quality, accountability and cost containment are closely linked to the delivery of health care services in New Jersey. She was a founding member of the Health Care Payers Coalition that led to the creation of the Quality Institute.

Ms Antoniades is a graduate of St Olaf College, completed a clinical social work year at the University of Chicago and holds a master of science in community organization and social planning from Columbia University.
