As a Community Health and Policy Associate, Armonie Pierre-Jacques works to advance maternal and child health as well as strengthen our initiatives promoting community health and wellness. Armonie supports the Quality Institute’s Medicaid Policy Center, where her focus is health policy and maternal and child health initiatives. Her work also supports the New Jersey Reproductive Health Access Project (NJ-RHAP). Additionally, Armonie will help advance our Conversation of Your Life (COYL) program and support the Mayors Wellness Campaign to improve overall health and wellness in New Jersey communities.

Armonie earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Drexel University with a focus on improving health outcomes for diverse populations. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in public health from the College of New Jersey. Her experience includes work as a research assistant in the department of Community Health and Prevention at Drexel. She also has worked on UNICEF-funded global health projects that supported the Sudan Free of Female Genital Cutting program. She has interned with Susan G. Komen; Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children; and World Vision. Her research includes work on vaccine hesitancy with North Philadelphia’s WIC office.
