The Culture of Health Conference is one of New Jersey’s largest annual gatherings of public health leaders, practitioners, and changemakers. Rooted in the principle of health equity—that all people should have a fair and just opportunity to reach their highest level of health—the conference focuses on removing systemic barriers and disparities so communities can thrive regardless of zip code.
This year’s theme, Belonging For A Better Us, highlights the role of social connectedness and inclusion in advancing public and community health. Guided by the Seven Vital Conditions for Well-Being, sessions will provide practical strategies to foster equity, belonging, and resilience across New Jersey’s communities.
As part of the program, Katie Bisaha, Program Officer at the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute, will lead a workshop on building belonging-based mental health programs, drawing on successful approaches from the Mayors Wellness Campaign.
