As Director of the Mayors Wellness Campaign, Adrian Diogo advances programming that provides opportunities for cities and towns in New Jersey to create healthier communities. As part of his responsibilities, Adrian runs Healthy Communities create Healthy Citizens and Mayors Wellness Campaign PLUS — and provides critical support for the Conversation of Your Life initiative.
Adrian brings strong academic and work experience to his role, and his fluency in Portuguese and Spanish strengthens his multicultural outreach. He earned a B.S. from The College of New Jersey with a degree in Public Health, minors in Biology and Economics, and an interdisciplinary concentration in Health Communication.
Adrian interned at the Princeton Health Department, where he worked on performance management and quality improvement, and he also interned at the American Heart Association, where he worked Health Equity and Multicultural initiatives. Adrian first came to the Quality Institute in 2016 as a Community Health Intern. To further strengthen his skills and understanding of community health, Adrian last year trained to become an Emergency Medical Technician and now volunteers as an EMT.
